Naari Rithuvu

Naari means a woman, and Rithuvu, a period. This is a Mission to bring awareness about sanitary napkins and periods breaking myths amongst unlettered women. Many women in the rural parts are ignorant about menstrual hygiene. They consider it taboo and discourage talking about it. We aimed to make it a habit for them to use pads instead of reusing a cloth, promoting menstrual hygiene, also, clarifying myths and truth to make them comfortable about the natural cycle of menstruation. We conducted awareness sessions and distributed sanitary napkins to the women, helping them lead a secure and healthy life.
